How we use your details

Tops Tyres is a mobile tyre fitting business based in Hatfield Heath, Essex. This notice explains what happens to the information you give us through this website.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we ask for your name, phone number, email address (optional), vehicle registration and details, tyre size, the postcode where the vehicle is, and anything else you choose to tell us. We don't collect anything you don't type in.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry with a price and to arrange a booking.
• To find the right tyre size for your vehicle when you give us a registration number.
• To know where to send the van.

We use it for that job and nothing else. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are stored securely in our enquiries system (hosted by Supabase in the UK/EU) and kept for as long as we need them to deal with your job and for our business records afterwards, then deleted. If you'd like your details removed sooner, just ask.

The postcode checker

When you use the “Do we cover you?” postcode search, the postcode you type is sent to postcodes.io, a free open-data service, to find its location. Nothing else is sent and nothing is stored.

Cookies and third parties

This website doesn't set tracking cookies. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address when the page loads, as any web resource does. Messaging us on WhatsApp is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time. Call us on 07871 276 507 or email info@topstyres.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
